Update: Man with a Pan, Alzheimers Cafe (Fully Booked)

This initiative came about through our observations at Alzheimers Café that a number of men were in a new situation of having to do the cooking themselves, either because they were the principal carer or had been widowed.

Hence the idea to initiate a five session course with a professional cook/teacher to work in St Mary’s kitchen with a small group of up to 6 chaps to teach some basic cooking skills and introduce a small, varied range of basic dishes!

  • Course 3 - Finishes on 6th February 2018
  • Course 4 - Starts 27th Februrary 2018
Please note that all places are now FULLY BOOKED . We hope to be able to gain sufficient charitable funding to repeat these courses in the summer.
